Happiness is waking up and stepping into my silky soft Shadi Activewear yoga uniform... I discovered Shadi Activewear while I was living in London and practicing yoga in hot yoga studios which I used to love to do there in the winter – Shadi's range of activewear is really good at keeping dry, better (I think) than any other brand I've tried. Her beautifully bold, stand-out ranges are also Limited Editions, so you can express your unique style and taste without worrying too much about becoming a yogi-clone in class.

Happiness is pulling out my phone to post a picture to Instagram and catching @TribeNorfolk's posts on my feed... Search for TribeNorfolk, 'An appreciation of  Norfolk places, faces and produce', to be introduced to and connect with others in Norfolk. This unique Instagram account is building connections in the local community and sharing the best of the county –what's not to love?!

Absolute aromas

Happiness is shaking a few drops of geranium essential oil into the palm of my hands, rubbing them together and then cupping my hands over my face to inhale the aroma... Absolute aromas are one of my favourite brands of essential oil. Geranium (100% pure) is also one of my favourite essential oils. I often use it with my clients post-savasana (resting pose) at the end of a yoga session because it is a safe essential oil (non-toxic and non-irritant) to use and it helps to lessen fatigue, relieve stress, reduce depression and uplift spirits (as well as a host of other benefits and uses – definitely one for the first aid kit). Dab a few drops into the palm of your hand, rub together, hold a few inches away from your nose and breathe. I also add a few drops to coconut oil for a great skin tonic!
